Aufwiedersehen Scheweden! Deutschland hat gerade 2:0 gegen Schweden gewonnen. Das heißt, alles ist vorbei für Schweden. Heute Abend gibt es Mexiko gegen Argentinien. Der Winner spielt Deutschland in die Vierteilrund. Argentinien ist ein sehr stark Mannschaft deswegen werde ich für Mexiko jubeln.

Well, it's about the same as Yancy rooting for Brazil, I guess. That's like rooting for the Yankees IMO.

Anyway, props to Germany for the win over Argentina today; I myself was pulling for the Albiceleste, but Germany played well, and made the pk's. Prost. (Does that make sense here? Whatever.)
yeah, it was one hell of a game. I was really worried in the middle of the 2nd half when they were down by a goal. They were playing pretty sloppy in the first half but the pulled it together finally at the end of the second half. Also, Germany had an advantage in the penalty shootout because Argentina's starting Goalie was injured in the first half and had to leave the game. Tonight France plays Brazil and I hate both. But as hard as it will be for me, I think I will have to pull for France.
