I'm a grad student in philosophy working on my PhD. I received my BA in phil from the University of Iowa and I've been in grad school at the University of Kansas for the last three years. After spending the last year in Mainz Germany on a GDX scholarship I've returned to the states and am continuing to work on my PhD at KU.

that pigeon one's awesome--captures maybe my favorite part about Venice
you know, when I was there I actually paid for some pigeon food, just so I could get mobbed with those fine birds (or "flying rats"--all a matter of perspective, I guess)
as a matter of fact, I put a blurry photo of a photo up on my blog, if you're interested

Cool photo. I wasn't brave enough buy pigeon food and get mobbed but that didn't keep them from attacking me. By the way thanks for the video posting info on your other blog. But what is the code to make the video appear right on my blog rather than taking you to the google video website?
when you're on the google video page with your video, there should be a link on the right that says "put on site"--if you click it, it should give you the code, which you can then just copy & paste into a post on your blog . . .
