Christmas

I'm glad I got to be home for christmas. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I hadn't been able to come home. It would have been lonely I'm sure. Unfortunately it sounds like Jill will not have the baby before I head back to Germany. However, she's definately showing a lot more than the last time I saw her back in September. And while I was away in Germany, Barnes Jewish Hospital finished the brochure highlighting Dr Riew and my surgery. I was happy to finally see how it turned out. I think it's really nicely done. You can also see the X-ray of what my neck looked like before the surgery. If you click on the pictures they will enlarge so that you can read the text.


Well I'm hoping to head down to Lawrence for New Years. I'll be sure to report.

Frohe Weihnachten

Letzte donnerstag Abend besuchten wir der Mainzer Weihnachtsmarkt und da habe ich alle meinen weihnachtsten Geschenken gekauft. Nach der Weihnachtsmarkt gingen wir ins Kneipe. Wir haben vielle spaß gemacht. Heir sind manche Fotos:

I'll be home for Christmas

Well I guess I’ll go ahead and post in english this time since I don’t have any new pictures to post because I forgot to take any pictures at the christmas football party the other night. I guess I was too excited about finally seeing some football. It was fun though. We watched the Bears Stealers game. The game wasn’t so great but they were playing in a blizzard during the second half so it made it pretty entertaining. The good news is, I’ll be home for Christmas after all! I’m flying home on the 21st and I’ll be in Des Moines until the 5th. Is anybody going to be in Lawrence for new years or whatever? It’d be fun to stop down there while I'm home.

Wiesbaden

Am Mittwoch ging ich nach Wiesbaden. Mit dem Studentsemesterticket ist es kostenlos in die Nähe von Mainz zu reisen und es ist nur etwa 15 Minuten mit dem Zug. Ich hatte keine Stadtplan, also ich bin einfach durch die Stadt gewanderen. Leider hatte ich die großen Marktkirche verpasst. Als ich erlernte, wo die Marktkirche ist, es war schon dunkel und mir war kalt. Doch kann ich noch einmal zuruck gehen. Trotzdem war es nette. Hier sind manche Fotos:



Und diese Sonntag hat Eva mich zu einen Weihnachtsamerikanischenfußballspielparty eingeladen. Wir werden Football anschauen und essen. Ich vermisse Football so viele! Ich freut mich sehr darauf. Ich bin sicher, es wird viel spaß machen. Ich werde unbedingt daran berichten.
